What does a Pet Wedding Chaperone Do?
Not only do we work with your pets but we also coordinate with your photographer and videographer to ensure we get photos where your pet is looking. This is something we are especially skilled with, as Kelsea has worked with dogs and cats on photo and film sets - and has trained the team on lots of tips and tricks. Our team is also built of dog trainers, and individuals who have experience handling anxious and reactive dogs in a variety of environments. We will also work with your wedding party to make sure they are comfortable walking the dog down the aisle or know where we will be to hand the dog off during the ceremony if needed. We work with your wedding planner and coordinator to make sure your dog is everywhere they need to be on the big day and that they arrive on schedule.
Your dog is attended to the ENTIRE day. From the moment we pick them up to the moment we drop them off, we are with them and providing constant care. They are not left in crates or hotel rooms alone in between photos and the ceremony. They are with us and attended to until they are returned home that night (or the next morning if you select overnight care), or to a boarding facility.

A meet and greet is always done before your wedding (either virtual or in person) to get to know about you and most importantly your pets. It will also allow for you to share your expectations for your wedding day and how you want your pets to be included.
We will always arrive early to the venue with the pets so that there is time for them to sniff and familiarize themselves with the environment beforehand. We also come fully prepared with a kit including things like wipes, lint brushes, water, brushes, squeakers, and their favourite high value treats and all the key essentials.
