Our founder, Kelsea, has experience handling dogs and cats on professional photo and film sets, and those skills have been incorporated into the training every Royal Paws handler receives.
Behind the scenes, we work closely with your entire vendor team. We communicate with your planner, coordinator, photographer, videographer, officiant, and wedding party to ensure your pet is exactly where they need to be, exactly when they need to be there. Whether that means preparing for a first look, walking down the aisle, greeting guests during cocktail hour, or quietly slipping away after the ceremony, we manage every detail so you don't have to.
Our team is made up of experienced pet care professionals, including professional dog trainers, groomers, and dog walkers who are comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs.
Most importantly, your pet is never left unattended. They are not waiting alone in a crate, hotel room, or vehicle between events. Throughout their time with us, they receive one-on-one care, regular potty breaks, exercise, fresh water, enrichment, plenty of affection, and a calm advocate by their side. We remain with your pet until they are safely returned home, to their accommodations, or cared for overnight as part of your selected package.

We'll discuss their routine, personality, favourite rewards, and any medical or behavioural considerations so we can create a customized plan just for them. For dogs with significant reactivity or a bite history, in-person meet and greets are available for an additional fee when recommended.
On your wedding day, we always arrive early to give your pet plenty of time to settle into their surroundings before the excitement begins. Every handler comes prepared with a fully stocked wedding day kit, including water, bowls, waste bags, towels, grooming supplies, lint rollers, high-value treats, toys, cleaning supplies, backup safety equipment, and other essentials to keep your pet comfortable, clean, and photo-ready.
Most importantly, we become your pet's advocate. We monitor their stress levels, recognize when they need a quiet break, exercise, water, or simply time away from the excitement. We adjust our approach throughout the day so your pet can enjoy the celebration safely and comfortably.
